Become a Swim Teacher

Do you need a part time job? Ever thought about becoming a swimming teacher?

Swimming teaching is a fantastic job that gives you great personal satisfaction, helping children and young people to learn to swim.

What’s involved?
  • You need to be able to swim 25 metres without stopping
  • You need to be free for a few hours each week
  • You need to enjoy working with children of all ages
What qualifications do I need to be a swimming teacher?

You need to pass an Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or Swimming Teachers Association (STA) qualification. These take around 3 or 4 days to complete, usually over a weekend.

We may be able to cover the cost for the qualification itself (but not your time spent), and you will need to agree to work for us for 6 months with regular hours.

So, if you are interested in making a real difference to a child life, drop us an email and we will contact you directly to discuss further.
